Technology Usage

Nowadays, people can’t live without technology. Whether you realize it or not, it surrounds our everyday activity. Technology leads our world and made it better, it improves our world in a lot of things. Recently, new technology keep coming out and compete which each other. They compete in price, quality, efficiency and etc. We need technology that make our life better and easier.

I’m satisfied with my technology usage  time, For the time that I have for technology, I could have done a lot of things, for example, with computer, I could do school work, and I could also use it for entertainment. Most of technology that I have is mostly for entertainment. Since I realized I use too much time on entertainment. I’ve tried too change my habits and start to do more useful things with technology such as not wasting so much time with laptop on internet, And maybe start to read more books than spending time on internet. I’ve been decreasing time for internet in computer and try to use it only when I need it.

In some cases, I’m a tech waster, but sometime i could also be a tech efficient person. I’m a tech waster sometime because I use technology mainly for entertainment. And sometimes when I am using the computer for schoolwork or internet, I also turn on the TV without watching it. It’s a really bad habit of mine. I don’t like it when my room is really quiet, if I’m not turning on the TV, I’ll be playing music on my iPod. As a tech efficient person, at school, we couldnt use cellphone and its not necessary for turning it on since we’re not allowed to use it. So, at school time, I usually turn it off and turn it back on during go home time, I also put my phone on silent because it could save a lot of battery.

I hope I could improve technology usage better by using technology for things that really is necessary and important. I also want to be a better daughter for my parents and better sister for my siblings by use more of my technology for study and get good marks. I also want to be a better citizen, by doing these stuff, it will save more energy that suppose to be used by me for entertainment. It could be very useful, with these small steps I hope I can help the environment.

For my technology usage table, I put in handphone, iPod, laptop, and etc. These technology are the things I use the most. I’ll put handphone and laptop in high priority and iPod in low. Handphone is really important for communicating and is really useful. Laptop is also needed for our everyday activity, for school work and etc. iPod is not really useful actually, it could only be use for entertainment. Doing school work is much more important than playinggame on iPod or listening to music, right now, I don’t do school work first everytime. Starting from now, I’ll try to put school work first, then entertainment.

My conclusion is, technology plays an important role in our life, they have different usage. In my case, I don’t maximize all of the usage of the technology and just wasting time. I could be a technology waster or a technology efficient person. I want to do small changes by fixing my usage of technology and be a better person.

Orange, a close relative of red, sparks more controversy than any other hue. There is usually strong positive or negative association to orange and true orange generally elicits a stronger "love it" or "hate it" response than other colors. Fun and flamboyant orange radiates warmth and energy. Interestingly, some of the tones of orange such as terra cotta, peach or rust have very broad appeal.

Green ~(^-^~)

Green occupies more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye and is second only to blue as a favorite color.
The natural greens, from forest to lime, are seen as tranquil and refreshing, with a natural balance of cool and warm (blue and yellow) undertones. Green is considered the color of peace and ecology. However, there is an "institutional" side to green, associated with illness or Government-issued that conjure up negative emotions as do the "slimy" or bilious greens.

Blue

Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable and committed. The color of sky and the ocean, blue is perceived as a constant in our lives.

As the collective color of the spirit, it invokes rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming; however not all blues are serene and sedate. Electric or brilliant blues become dynamic and dramatic, an engaging color that expresses exhilaration.

Some shades or the overuse of blue may come across as cold or uncaring. Blue is the least "gender specific" color, having equal appeal to both men and women.
